We visited The Arium Leeds whilst visiting Grandma and Grandad in the holidays.
A perfect place to catch up have something to eat and play in the outdoor play area hidden away in Leeds.

The Arium is owned by Leeds City Council often referred to as a Garden Centre but is in fact a Plant Nursery. It is the biggest local authority nursery in the country with a 19,000m2 glasshouse, enabling it to produce over three million plants a year for Leeds, other local authorities and has a huge array of beautiful flowers for you to buy too!
We travelled from Cross Gates on the No11 bus taking around 15mins and a short walk to The Atrium. Remember to buy your WY Metro ticket on the app before hand as its more expensive to purchase on the bus.
We arrived just in time for Breakfast at the onsite cafe with minutes to spare. There’s a special offer at the moment (Feb24) costing £5.50 each! Bargain look at the size of it Yum!

I had a quick glance of the lunch menu and it’s all very reasonable and great portions/quality. Drinks were a little bit pricey though at £2 a can of pop.
The outdoor play area is brilliant! It’s free to play and so much to do in this massive sandpit! The large slide is extremely fast so be careful with little ones. My youngest son enjoyed the diggers and has already asked when we are going back he would happily play all day in the sand.

Lots of seating and picnic benches. A perfect place to visit for a few hours whilst grabbing something to eat and letting the children play!
