Who are we?
Pop-up Pop-in was set up in 2019. We started providing Biodegradable Festival Glitter and Tattoos, Facepainting and Hair Braiding in Leeds. Just when we started to gain momentum the pandemic hit and hit hard! We didn’t let that stop us. Even though we were unable to meet up and in our case, not even allowed to work face to face (very important when your facepainting!)
We had to find alternatives and that’s when I put my life with our 4 children online. With limited resources at home, I posted up activities to keep children engaged and learn through play only using what we had available, which wasn’t much! With a then 9, 6 and 3-year-old twins to teach and entertain, I had to use all the skills I have learnt being a mother to the test.
Now I must admit, it did help that my previous job roles included being a Children’s Entertainer, but it was no easy task in the uncertain times ahead. When we were able to meet up again it was very clear that families especially their children needed to have fun and that it was going to be an interesting summer for me at Pop-up Pop-in. I had a venue to work at every week and my business quickly adapted to what they needed, and that’s when we added Crafts on to our list of services.
A one stop entertainment pop-up shop! Businesses need to adapt, stay relevant, always putting the customer first and we have done just that going from strength to strength working with organisations offering services to the public alongside our private bookings. We are building on that too!
With our background in Travel, Tourism, Recreation and Hospitality Pop-up Pop-in can be your event Co-ordinator or planner for any event with our ethos on making sure you take part in your event as much as your guests and take away the stress that planning a experience for everyone to enjoy takes.
That’s not all! We have teamed up with local businesses to offer bespoke adult only self care packages perfect for team building days and enrichment activities. As why should the children have all the fun!
Pop-up Pop-in is constantly evolving but always putting you and your child(ren) first.
Re-cycle, Reuse, Renew!
We are eco-friendly as possible as an entertainment company by only offering Biodegradable Glitter. In fact, we have never offered anything but Biodegradable options even in our crafts!
Here at Pop-up Pop-in we encourage our guests to Re-cycle, Reuse and Renew and share ideas on using all these items to entertain your children.
Watching our carbon footprint
Here at Pop-up Pop-in we are continuously looking at ways to improve our carbon footprint even if that means walking or cycling to work!
We have an open Art Gallery for children to enjoy just off the Woodlesford Canal and we take part in lots of community projects.
Pop-up Pop-in are thrilled to support local businesses and charities that share the same ethos as us protecting our planet and all those who live on it including our animals both big and small.

Pop-up Pop-in is proud to be an Ambassador for Leeds Child Friendly. Collaborating with a great team dedicated in making Leeds a better place to grow up in.
We're constantly on the go, planning and preparing for the next wave of initiatives that will bring joy, education and inspiration to the lives of children in our city.
Pop-up Pop-in is also an Ambassador for No Phones at Home Day that encourages all parents to consciously turn their devices off, and to undertake activities to connect with their children improving their sense of worth and wellbeing.
Pop-up Pop-in has always encouraged the whole family to join in the fun at our events and on our Let's Create page you will find craft activities to do at home only using what many will already have to hand!

I’m passionate and creative and want to share this all with you. Even if it only helps one child, one family and one school. I’m the mum of 4 beautiful children and even though they drive me nuts most of the time. I wouldn’t change them for the world!
We owe it to all our children to make sure the world they grow up in is the best it can be! Fill their lives with joy and create fun ways for them to learn through play.
