Having taken my younger twins to Drayton Manor in 2021 it was big sisters time to hit the big rides at Drayton Manor, Tamworth, Staffordshire.

Now hear me out, and I’ll explain why I prefer to take my children separately at Theme Parks and other attractions.

Not only is it expensive to take a family of 6 to a Theme Park, there’s also different ages, heights and needs to consider!

So I prefer to to take them based on the rides they will go on and break the park down to suitable areas for them.

Drayton Manor is a great example of a Theme Park that is split into sections for the whole family having a dedicated Thomas the Tank Engine park that is perfect for the younger ones. And I will add it might even take you a day to go on all the rides in this area.

We arrived early waiting in line before the gates open and left just as the park closed.

We got on all the rides at Drayton Manor including visiting the Zoo, catching the train back to Thomas Land and having a ride on the Troublesome Trucks.

Now I have to stress cutting through Thomas Land it isn’t as magical as I remember and not as many themed souvenirs which is sad. The last time we visited this area I won my son a Thomas Plush on one of the play-to-win games. I hope they change it back as that was part of the magic for us when we visited.

Here are some snapshots of the Thomas Land when we visited in 2021.
