We recently visited the Mechanical Art and Design Museum (M.A.D) and loved it!

The MAD Museum the only one of it’s kind; is run by a local family from Kenilworth in Warwickshire. Opened in 2012 The Mechanical Art and Design Museum is more than your typical museum. It’s an interactive gallery showcasing the best works from over Europe to inspire generations with their engineering and design!

I have never seen so many mechanical creations in one place this is truly a collection to be proud of! Best of all it keeps getting bigger! Cannot wait to see what new inventions will be their on our next visit!

It’s fascinating watching how things work together, all the mechanical components working seamlessly together.

Yes we all have seen a marble run before and a mechanical clock in motion but seeing all these artworks under one roof was mesmerising! The attention to detail was well…. I have no words you will have to go and see for yourselves.

We spent an hour here. If my youngest was with us he would happily spent the whole afternoon getting inspired and taking full advantage of the marble wall!

It’s lovely to see something that promotes Science, Technology, Engineering, Maths, Art and Design for children and families.

“I want kids to put down their mobiles and get inspired by interacting with engineering and design. There’re some fantastic things to witness at MAD and the great thing is we’re still growing, The MAD Museum is just getting bigger and better!” Couldn’t put it better myself Richard!
