An independent museum that showcases the love of everything Tudor. That’s run and owned by husband and wife team, Janet & John Ford. Their enthusiasm, attention to detail and passion is the driving force of the museum and this has created such a lovely museum for children and families to visit.
This compact living history museum is situated right in the center of Stratford upon Avon is set within a historic 16th-century grade 2* building including an untouched courtyard taking you back to Elizabethan era!
Discover the secret lives of the Tudors and what life was really like during the time of William Shakespeare; Francis Drake; Elizabeth I, Henry VIII and everyday people. With themed areas showcasing snippets of life as a Tudor perfect for all ages.
Just enough for the young ones with interactive areas including a dressing up box, quill writing and sniff boxes! But also the opportunity for us adults to test our knowledge and learn more about this era that inspires us all so much!
We spent an hour at Tudor World but had the place to ourselves! When we left there was a group coming in so we were really lucky to have a VIP experience!
I would love to take full advantage of the Ghost Tours and even the Walking Tour Tudor World host!
